This is the first time i have guided the Japanese tourists and also the first tour to Bat Trang. However it was great and super cute.
I didn't need to talk much because their English were not good so it was hard for me to chat with them at the start. When we came to Bat Trang, we spent the whole time in Ceramic market. They bought a lot and laughed a lot and overreacted because those things were much cheaper than in Japan. And they seemed to be super happy. The total stuffs were more than 3 million Vietnam dong and helped them get a good deal.
This made the seller happy so she invited us to try Banh Ngo (funny) but we refused. Then we went back to Hanoi and they wanted to try local food so i guided them to Net Hue, they tried a lot and complimented.
In the end they intended to give me tips but i refused because i just went shopping with them, no more, no less.
The girls were super cute, nice and shopaholics,

This Hanoi free Tour was cool. They were friendly and they said they loved Vietnamese food so much that made me happy and proud.
I guided them around the Lake and they seemed to be interested in it. They asked me a lot. Then we talked about the religion and turned out that almost people in Philip follow Christianity. And the tourists were quite surprised that 80% population of Vietnam have no religion and they said that was great.

We started at post office. First, we visit Le Loi temple and walk around Hk lake. We talk about the life after the dead at temple so that was kind of interesting experience from my point of view. In addition, we told them the legend of the lake, The Huc bridge and also Ngoc Son temple. Then we reached the Cathedral for a moment and talk a little bit about religion in Canada. Then we had egg coffee at Dinh cafe. They was so exciting because the cafe was kind of secret and ancient orientation in Hanoi and they fell in love with egg coffee after one single taste. Last but not least, we bought xôi khúc and bring them to Circle-K to eat, and also bought Thailand green tea for drink. They love Thailand green tea.
Finally when we reached their hostel, they show their appreciation and gave us 400k, 200k for each, we denied to recieve, so they give us coins of Egypt as a souvenir. Personally, I really love that souvenir and I feel so happy when I can keep a coin that come from Egypt.
To sum up, they were so nice, we have shared a lot of things, I have learnt many new things today. Thank all

My leg is hurting so i discovered Hanoi with him by my motorbike. His father and mother is of original Chinese because he don't like places which are related Temple. This Hanoi free tour is very difficult for me. Because I know a little information about history. He have not time and he wanna visited all special places in Hanoi without Temple and Literature of temple.
During the tour, he shared with me about his career, his family. And he told to me about all countries which he visited.
Unfortunately, I met a accident. I allergic with egg coffe. i was headache and felt giddy and dizzy. i was try my best to guide him to 2 places Hoa Lo prison and Military History of Vietnam and then took him hotel. I really hate.....hate egg coffee. I will never.. never drink egg coffee again.

They are a friendly family: An old man used to be Director of Philips red cross and took part in the War II, he knows many many stories about history, although he is 93 years old, he is very strong and sound in mind. On the way, we shared stories about history and our life. We had delicious lunch in Bo De Restaurant excepted his grand daughter, she ate 4 bananas instead of her lunch so his father said that" you are like a monkey , do you want to go to banana garden to live?
:-)". Then, we came back to hotel with leftover food because the old man said that there were many people hadn't food to eat, so we shouldn't threw away!. This sentence made me thought about my actions which I used to before. After this interested tour, I learned many lessons about life in the pass, present as well as th future.

Today I had an extremely busy day because I guided 2 tours: one in this afternoon and the other tonight. While waiting for 2 tourists this afternoon, Thanh texted me to ask whether I could guide the tour tonight. Because there were anyone free tonight, so I agreed. When I saw them first, I didn't think they are couple cause the wife coming from Philipinne is really younger than the husband. But omg she said she was forty three years old, unbelievably. They are greatly nice and always smiling . I guided them to try Bun cha Hang Manh with spring roll, then Sticky cream in To Tich street, though I planned to have 3 different kinds of food tonight. I think I will make a deal with the coffee shopkeeper because I guided tourists to try egg coffee twice times today
:v. They really liked the view of the sword lake and yummy egg coffee. Finally, We walked around Silk street for Christine to buy Aodai. I helped her to choose 2 different kinds of Aodai: one traditional and one innovated- modern style. Today I met 2 nice boys from Germany. Although I had to wait them 30 minutes ( jor buying 2 motorbikes), the tour are really fun. They always make me smile cause they 're always kidding me. First, Fida said Michael was his boyfriend with serious attitude. Then Fida asked me where he could buy mask with Hello kitty:v. More surprisingly, they was also using the same smartphone. OMG. Hence I actually believed them. But it is not the problem. We talked a lot and shared something interesting about job,hobby,history,culture,etc. While walking around HCM complex, luckily, one art group was performing " Chầu văn", so I had opportunity to introduce them about one kind of folk and traditional music in Vietnam that they had never seen before. At last, we took a taxi coming back Old quarter and enjoyed egg coffee with the view of Sword lake. They asked me to try dog meat and a little duck egg, so can anyone know anywhere to try? hehe

We arrived her homestay on time and we saw her waiting for us, she recognized us at that moment. Then, we walked to Dong Xuan market. We introduced for her about architecture, features, dry fruits around there. But, information we gave her was in a little bit confusion. After that, we went to Long Bien bridge. We took some pictures at there. It's very cute.
We invited her to eat something but she had a yoga class at 6 o'clock so we didn't do that. She said she chose Hanoi Free Local Tour to direct her trip, because she wanted to experience our life, our street foods,... She said if she had chose professional tour guides, she would have went to restaurants, expensive places and then went back her homestay. So, she didn't want that. She wanted to experience more.
The first trip today help me recognize my strengths and weakness. Thanks all 😁😁

They are very interested and impressive about the authenticity of prison. And then we went to see saint joseph cathedral and talked more about foods, famous places, religion and family. Finally, 2 girls have tried many foods and they kept going food tour themselve. The boy went to drink egg coffee and the woman came back hostel.

He said that Bun Cha was very delicious and he liked it. At 6.30 pm, we went to night market, we help him to buy a bag of coffee. He is really happy when visiting Viet Nam and he said “I will come back here next year to discover all places in Viet Nam.”

Firstly, we walked around lake, we produced ethar about hoan kiem complex such as: the legend of lake, ngoc son temple, walk stress, ethar was share experience and her story when she live in Beijing in 6 months.
We walked around the cathedral. Cause chirstmas coming, the church was decorated many stuff beautiful, tiny and twinker.After that we move on hoa lo prison. She was suppired when she look at the guillotine. We take some photos .She really do like the ancient house in hanoi. It's have yellow wall, green window and have some flowerpot in balcony. When we go out the prison and the weather had cold windy. It's perfect weather to dink a hot egg coffee. We walked to Giảng cafe in Nguyen Huu Huan street. Tu tried a egg coffe with rum ,wow, it's preety good. We were talk about girly stuff, books, the ghost month in july, and Ethar teach us a little bit of chinese. It's a simple sentences but hear it so fun .
Lastly, we come back to her hostel.

Thanks u so much Tuan Anh, if u don't come with me today, maybe I will be lost because I made a mistake between Ngo Huyen and Ngo Quyen. Firstly, we go to Hoan Kiem Lake, on the way, we talk about the languages, she can talk 5 languages (include her mother tongue), omg. Then we introduced for her Turtle Tower, Pen Tower, The Huc Bridge, and Ngoc Son Temple. Then we moved to Dong Xuan Market. It's is the first time I know something called "Ma Thay", she bought it for us, and she really like it, the flavor like the white of coconut. Then we eat "Bo Bia", she like it too, but I think "Bo Bia" is so sweet. Have u seen "Con ruoi" before? It's like a worm, so scary, but it's expensive (45k for 100gram). And she asked us about Vietnamese food many times today, about "Banh ran", "Banh da cua", and she asked us "the food has white color, with something like yellow bread, and cheese on top". Which the food do u think now? I will give the answer in the end of this post:)).
We went to Long Bien Bridge, take a picture here. Talked about Long Bien Bridge's history, Ceramic Road's beauty. In the sunlight of afernoon, it's so romantic scene, I think so. Then, we go into the banana forest, that's is Tuan Anh's great idea. There is so peaceful place, we talk about our hobby, about Vietnamese's agriculture, gardening... She said the first time she saw so many banana tree like this, because her country can't raise up banana tree. I took for her a picture in banana forest. After that we come back to hostel. In here, we ate the food she described:)). It's "chao" -white color, with "quay"-yellow bread, and "ruoc"-cheese on top ^^
We eat it and keep talking. She really happy to come with us today, she say thank us so much. And of course, I felt happy so much too. With me the first time is a very great time. And it's make me want to get more and more knowledge to introduce this beautiful country to a lovely and nice tourist like her.

* Destinations: Hanoi Cathedral, Hoan Kiem Lake, the statue of the King Ly Thai To, book street, Trang Tien ice cream, Hoa Lo prison.
Yesterday, this was the first time we had become free tour guides. We arrived his hostel on time and we felt so excited and a little bit nervous. Firstly, we had some problems about address but finally, we met him, a nice boy from Germany. The first destination was Saint-Joseph cathedral. Luckily, Stefan he practices Christian and he said that: “The Big Church has many similarity with the churches of German”. Then, we walked around the Sword lake and talked something about the legend of turtle god, The Huc bridge,… Next, we enjoyed Trang Tien ice cream and our tourist was very interested and excited about it. Finally, we chose the Hoa Lo Prison as the final destination of the tour. Huyen did a great tour guide cause she brought the detailed information about this place. He was extremely surprised by the treatment of the Vietnam’s government toward American soldiers and he thought it was crazy and unbelievable. According to him, Hoa Lo prison has the same architecture as the prison in German. After that, I took him to a restaurant on Quang Trung street and had dinner together there. He promised to return to Vietnam someday. What an excellent experience!!!

Firstly, we walked around lake, we produced ethar about hoan kiem complex such as: the legend of lake, ngoc son temple, walk stress, ethar was share experience and her story when she live in Beijing in 6 months.
We walked around the cathedral. Cause chirstmas coming, the church was decorated many stuff beautiful, tiny and twinker.After that we move on hoa lo prison. She was suppired when she look at the guillotine. We take some photos .She really do like the ancient house in hanoi. It's have yellow wall, green window and have some flowerpot in balcony. When we go out the prison and the weather had cold windy. It's perfect weather to dink a hot egg coffee. We walked to Giảng cafe in Nguyen Huu Huan street. Tu tried a egg coffe with rum ,wow, it's preety good. We were talk about girly stuff, books, the ghost month in july, and Ethar teach us a little bit of chinese. It's a simple sentences but hear it so fun .
Lastly, we come back to her hostel.
